Every time I think or say, "I'm not interested in that type of photography," my inner artist very cleverly goes to work, proving me wrong. And, you guessed it, maternity sessions fell into that category. A few years ago, I attended a trade show to do some continuing education when I attended a fashion photographer's talk. In his presentation, there was an image of his wife, very pregnant. That image stuck with me for years. Until then, I had a false impression that maternity sessions were somehow cheesy, wrong again! Now I can't wait to do my next maternity session.
